With Your Help We Can Save Lives

Within our Mother of Peace Community and Medical Clinics Programs, the Allen Temple Baptist Church AIDS Ministry created Save a Child with AIDS to directly address the growing number of children diagnosed with the disease in Zimbabwe, Africa. Due to HIV/AIDS, many children are orphans and a significant number of families are led by older children under the age of eighteen. Most child led families do not have the adequate financial means to sustain their siblings. In addition, they do not have the ability to pay for required medical care and treatment.

Save a Child with AIDS Objectives

• Provide testing services and ensure that the HIV/AIDS status of Zimbabwean children is known.
• Continue to provide medical treatment and anti-retroviral medication to 150 child patients diagnosed and living with HIV/AIDS.
• Expand medical treatment and medication to newly diagnosed children.
• Provide HIV/AIDS prevention awareness education and prevent the spread of the disease.

A sponsorship donation ensures that a HIV positive child receives essential medication. Your help enables the Ministry to continue treating children currently being cared for, as well as initiate treatment for children who are being brought to the clinics everyday seeking help.

Our Efforts

Since the recent inception of our program, the number of sponsored children has grown from 20 to 150. Without the provision of medication and treatment, many Zimbabwean children are diagnosed with the disease, but they remain untreated. Our primary goal is to provide life-saving medication to every child in need.
